Haibun (Prose and Haiku)
Prose and haiku have a long history together from the days of the early masters in Japan.
Presented here as a single video poem are three haibun about Water; “Horseshoe Crabs”, “San Marcos”, and “Hurricane”. Part of a four part set about the elements, its companion piece, the three part linked poem “Green Apples”, is about Fire.
The imagery is a celebration of text and transition.
