All of creation is vibration. Some of this energy we can experience as sound.
I have witnessed the positive impacts of sound when it is intentionally introduced into environments and recent research has demonstrated remarkable connections to altered frequencies and their environment, to consciousness and its affect on living things.
Below is a brief list of some of these discoveries and properties that are worth exploring as illustrations of the impact of intention on our selves and our world.
1. Sound can modify DNA
In 2011, the Russian biophysicist Pjotr Garjajev conducted experiments in modifying DNA using only sound and light frequencies. They successfully transformed frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns via frequencies alone.
2. Sound can levitate objects
A device built by a team in Spain and the UK in 2015 can levitate and manipulate small objects in air. Theoretically if the sound was amplified enough, much larger objects could be levitated.
3. Sound can boil water
Peter Davey created a device that boils water in seconds, using only sound waves. He calls it the sonic boiler. How the heater actually works has confounded experts.

4. Sound Can Create Light
Sonoluminescence is the emission of short bursts of light from imploding bubbles in a liquid when excited by sound. An intense amount of energy is released by the process as well.
5. Sound Moves Faster Than Light
In 2007, scientists experimentally demonstrated that sound pulses can travel at velocities faster than the speed of light. They also showed that the velocity of sound waves can become infinite.
6. Sound can Kill Viruses.
Research from 2008 mathematically determined the frequencies at which simple viruses could be deactivated. This arises from an inherent characteristic of all objects called a resonant frequency, the frequency at which an object naturally vibrates. Some today believe that sound will be the next medicine.
7. Sound can be cancelled out with a synchronous, exact opposite vibration.
If there is a second synchronous valley of sound coinciding with every peak of the original sound the effect of vibration is neutralized. Even though a great deal of energy in motion may be involved the effect perceived is as if nothing happened at all . This is known as a scalar wave, a potential energy in stasis. Change the phase of one wave and the difference between them begins to express in perceptible kinetic energy.
8. Sound can be convoluted into silence by physical interference.
Toss a pebble into a pond and a single wave of concentric circles will radiate outward. Toss ten pebbles into a pond at once and the wave rings will intersect and cross one another without cancelling each other out. Enough of these intersections create white noise, a static effect similar to listening to deep space with radio, or listening to your muscles with a stethoscope as they contract.
9. Sound is amplified when it re-sonates at sympathetic frequencies.
As waves harmoniously intersect at nodes on a sine wave the sound effect produced is a doubling of the vibration amplitude, a harmonic resonance, a re-sounding of the note. Children know this from humming into a tube until the pitch resonates into a louder volume than they are singing.
10. Sound produces waves of interference that become visible in 2D patterns.
Cymatics documents these recurring patterns that we know and experience in everyday life. The Sri Yantra and the Turtle Shell are two examples that appear at particular frequencies.
11. Sound can elevate us physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Through sympathetic whole numbers waves pass into and around us in synch with our being. Recent research seems to indicate that tuning musical instruments to 432Hz instead of 440Hz is harmonic with our physical spaces and bodies. This is because 432 is divisible into more whole number factors within a range of scaled notes.
12. Sound is a function of hearing.
All of creation is vibration. Some of it we can experience as sound. Hearing is an energetic cause and effect of the duality of existence and experience, requiring an ear to sense it.
