Through symbols and signs we may greatly broaden the range of insight through experience that is within our grasp.
A number, a color, a sound, are all examples of symbols as ideas, that may present as gifts of guidance for us to access. Ask yourself why you saw that bird just then, what were you thinking about at that moment of connection.
When you were feeling low, why did you see that flower? What color was it?
There is a common thread in symbolism that speaks to our higher selves. A vast reservoir of shared knowledge exists within us as the collective consciousness of symbols and their meanings. Although we experience them subjectively, our internal compass reveals new layers of insights as we remember, and grow in our understanding.
Symbols are a point of contact between one realm and another. Layers intersect, their content a doorway to understanding that crosses boundaries of experience and barriers of connection. Signs are more specific, as directed toward you at a particular place and time.
Because of the fluidity of the time/space continuum, connecting with a symbol also connects us with its presence beyond our current perception. It connects us to the past and future as well, in its ability to hold like energies. Indifferent to the perception of right or wrong, they simply exist as they are within the flow of the collective experience.
When we learn to live symbolically we are opening to expression, accessing another perspective on our reality, as guideposts are made present to help us on our path. It is like learning another language. When we first recognize, acknowledge, and comprehend a sign, a door opens into another level of understanding. One that has been with you all along, and now opened, will allow a richer experience of your life as more gifts of synchronicity and convergence manifest. Eventually, it will become a part of your daily life, another aspect of your true path.
