the vine
finds itself,

the green gone
only your searching remains
old vine

the vine
needs the tree
to rise

 

 

4. Yugen ––Beauty suffused with ineffable mystery

 

halfway there,
the vine
turns back

climbing
beyond the vine
honeysuckle scent

grasping vines,
even your blooms
are needy
