Short Forms

I am most often struck by haiku that are of one mind, as a single sentence. This is the form that I prefer within my own work, and another point of departure from the current ideal two-image form. As I began writing in two parts over different days, it was a natural evolution to sometimes identify only one entry as the record of my experience. I began writing and editing to shorter and shorter forms, until the term haiku might no longer apply.
